Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr. (27 September, 1982), also known as Lil Wayne, is one of he most famous American rappers. After leaving Hot Boys rap band, at the teen-age he joined the Cash Money Records. During the record of the album True Story he is known to work with a rapper B.G. Lil Wayne's first album released with with Hot Boys in 1997 is Get It How U Live, and Tha Block is Hot came out 1999. Lil Wayne was also nominated for "Best New Artist" from The Source magazine in 1999. The album turned to be a great success and Wayne soon featured on other rappers' singles, including "#1 Stunna" by the Big Tymers in 2000 "Bling Bling" by B.G..
